We have five distinct taproom locations: Ventura HQ + Brewery, Downtown Ventura, Santa Barbara, Camarillo, and Ojai.

VENTURA HQ + BREWERY

Our flagship brewery and headquarters located in Ventura, CA is our largest and most spacious taproom. It features two private or semi-private event spaces, plus other rental opportunities!

The Barrel Room

The Barrel Room is a fully private indoor space that you can customize & make your own for the event.  The room is blank canvas, outside of a rad vintage arcade, projector screen and higher cocktail tables.  You would have exclusive access to the space for up to five hours and all of the games & furniture that are naturally in the space.  We offer 2-3 tables that seat between 6-8 guests & 3-6 tables that seat 2-4 guests. The room can comfortably hold 300+ guests standing & 175+ guests seated with third party rentals.

The Sagebrush Garden

 The Sagebrush Garden is in a secluded area of our beer garden.  You would have access to the Good Vibes bar, a bartender for you & your guests, plus all of the tables & umbrellas that exist in the space. We have 9-10 picnic tables & umbrella's tables that seat between 8-10 guests in the garden, plus easy entry for exclusive food trucks or vendors.

VENTURA HQ + BREWERY FAQS

  • WINE // If you book a private space, we can offer wine! According to ABC regulations, wine needs to be ordered in advance, by the case. Please ask the Events Team for our list of California Wine Producers. 
  • FOOD // We feature food trucks daily at HQ.  If you have a guest count between 10-40 guests, it’s likely that the food truck can accommodate you! Parties of 40 or more should contact the Events Team directly for more feedback on food options. You are also welcome to bring in outside food, or any licensed food provider that you might prefer! 
  • NON-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES // We have easy self serve water stations at various locations at HQ.  You are welcome to bring in any non-alcoholic beverages of your choice for your event, or purchase directly from the food trucks. 

DOWNTOWN VENTURA

Our original location on Thompson Blvd is nestled in Downtown Ventura, just a few blocks from Surfer’s Point. The old brewery space has received a facelift and has been converted into a recreational space, with a pool table & arcade games, a great live entertainment set-up and additional seating.  The backroom can comfortably accommodate 175 guests standing & 100 guests seated.

The Back Room

A secluded part of our original taproom that has been outfitted with a pool table & rad retro arcade games. We would reserve the entire space exclusively for you & your guests, for up to five hours.  You would have exclusive access to the Back room & all of the furniture that exists in the space.

DOWNTOWN VENTURA FAQS

  • WINE // If you have exclusive access to the backroom, we can offer wine! According to ABC regulations, wine needs to be ordered in advance, by the case.
  • FOOD // We do not have a food partner in the downtown taproom. We often feature food trucks, please check our calendar for more details on the date of your event! You are welcome to bring in outside food, or any other licensed food provider that you might prefer.
  • NON-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES // There is water on tap in Thompson’s back room! We do have a few limited non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase, but you are welcome to bring in any non-alcoholic beverages that you may prefer for your event, or purchase directly from the food trucks.

SANTA BARBARA

Our northernmost taproom, a few blocks from the beach, but still within the Funkzone, our Taproom is located in a cool shared space called The Waterline. Guests who book in SB also have access to our partners in the space, for enhanced options of food & wine.

Partial Patio

A secluded part of our original taproom that has been outfitted with a pool table & rad retro arcade games. We would reserve the entire space exclusively for you & your guests, for up to five hours.  You would have exclusive access to the Back room & all of the furniture that exists in the space.


Full Patio

Full patio rentals are also available! You would have access to all 10 picnic tables + barrels in the space and can comfortably accommodate up to 300 guests standing and 200 guests seated.  A full patio rental would include additional fees from our patio partner, Fox Wine.

SANTA BARBARA FAQS

  • WINE // We are in a rad space called The Waterline and have a partner in the space, Fox Wine.  All wine must be purchased through Fox Wine for private events.  
  • FOOD // We are in an awesome space called the Waterline! Our restaurant partner in the space is The Nook.  If you would like to serve food at your event in Santa Barbara, we do need to give The Nook first right of refusal. If they are unable to accommodate your events needs, we can move on to other food options.

CAMARILLO

Our Southernmost taproom is on the main stretch of Old Town Camarillo, right on Ventura Boulevard. We have awesome partners in the mixed use space called The Mark, and can feature savory food or artisanal ice cream to enhance your event.

Topa's Patio 

Best for groups of up to 40 guests, Topa’s outdoor patio can accommodate a standing, cocktail style event with easy access to ordering at the outdoor bar & ample bar space for drinks or food.  

Partial Parklet

For groups of up to 70 guests, we can secure a portion of the Parklet, including up to 6 picnic tables & bar seating on the turf. Perfect for guests who prefer a mix of seated and standing areas.

CAMARILLO FAQS

  • FOOD // We are in a rad space called The Mark! We have two partners in the space. Our restaurant partner is Freda’s Woodfired Pizza Kitchen, they have exclusive rights to serve savory food in The Mark.  For dessert, Rori’s Artisanal Ice Cream has a huge array of options for your guests to choose from.  
  •  WINE // We have limited wine options in Camarillo.  Please reach out to the Event’s team to see if your rental option can feature wine in addition to beer and hard seltzer.  
  •  NON-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES // We always have water available! Freda’s also has tons of non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.

OJAI

Located in the heart of Downtown Ojai, this taproom sits at the base of our namesake mountain range and has a perfect view of the ‘Pink Moment.’  We have food partners in the space, Little Sama and you can level up the guest experience by adding food and beverage pairings to make your event extra memorable.

Full Buyout 

Due to the size of the space, special event options are more limited. If you would like to host a large event (30+ guests)  with Topa Topa, then a full buyout of the space is required. Full Buyouts also require a food minimum from Little Sama. Please connect with our events team for pricing and availability on your preferred date. 



OJAI FAQS

  • FOOD // We are partnered with Little Sama in our Ojai taproom! Events that would like to enhance their celebration with food, would need to feature our partner.  
  • WINE // We offer wine by the glass at our Ojai Taproom!  
  • NON-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES // We always have water available in a self service station next to Little Sama.  The restaurant also has non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.

What is a beverage minimum?  

The beverage minimum is how we assess the fees for your exclusive use of the space. Every time a beverage is purchased it applies to your minimum, you will only be charged a rental or “facility fee” if you and your guests do not meet the minimum. Only onsite beverage consumption of Topa Topa products apply to your beverage minimum.  

How long is the event rental?   

If you book a space with us [ex. The Sagebrush Garden or The Patio in SB] you have exclusive access to the space for up to five hours, including set-up and breakdown; during normal hours of operation. We can extend that timeline with advanced notice, for an additional fee.  If you reserve tables with us [not available at all taprooms] you have access to the tables exclusively for up to three hours.  

 Can we serve wine at our event?  

The rules are different in different spaces!  

  •  HQ // If you book a private space, we can offer wine! According to ABC regulations, wine needs to be ordered in advance, by the case. Please ask the Events Team for our list of California Wine Producers. 
  •  DT VTA // If you have exclusive access to the backroom, we can offer wine! According to ABC regulations, wine needs to be ordered in advance, by the case.  
  •  SB // We are in a rad space called The Waterline and have a partner in the space, Fox Wine.  All wine must be purchased through Fox Wine for private events.  
  •  CAM // Due to the shared nature of the space, wine is tricky.  Please speak directly with the Events team to see if you can offer wine at your event. 
  •  OJAI // We offer wine by the glass at our Ojai Taproom!  If your event would like to feature wine in addition to beer at a space that allows for it, please ask our Events team for a list of featured California wine producers. 

What are the food options?  

We have different offerings in different spaces! At our Taprooms that feature food partners, we ask that out of respect for them, we offer their menus at events that would like to include food options.  

  •  HQ // Food Trucks are available daily at our Headquarters on Colt Street. Additionally, you are welcome to bring your own food in. If you are expecting more than 50 guests, we do recommend providing an alternate food vendor for your event.  All vendors must be licensed and insured. Please see the contract for more details.  
  •  DT VTA // Food Trucks are often available at our original location on Thompson. Additionally, you are welcome to bring your own food in. If you are expecting more than 50 guests, we do recommend providing an alternate food vendor for your event.  All vendors must be licensed and insured. Please see the contract for more details.  
  •  SB // We are in an awesome space called the Waterline! Our restaurant partner in the space is The Nook.  If you would like to serve food at your event in Santa Barbara, we do need to give The Nook first right of refusal.  Is glassware included in the rental?  

We will provide all the glassware needed for your beer or hard seltzer! If you are featuring wine at your event, stemless wine glasses will also be provided with purchase.  

 What are the non-alcoholic beverage options?  

  • We always offer water free of charge at the taprooms, so you can leave the plastic water bottles at home!  
  •  At all of our locations, food trucks or food partners always have non-alcoholic beverage options available for purchase.  
  •  For large scale events at our Taprooms in Ventura, you are also welcome to bring your own non-alcoholic beverages if you prefer.  

 Decorations!  

  • Most often, you are welcome to bring in decorations for your event! The decor is subject to TTBC Management approval. Decorations cannot cause permanent damage to the facility or the property as a whole.  
  • No bounce houses or jolly jumps are welcome on property. 
  • No use of confetti of any kind is permitted on the premises (ex glitter, confetti, confetti balloons, rice, birdseed, etc.)  This policy is strict and will be enforced.  
  • Balloons & Balloon scraps must be removed & disposed of by the guest or vendor.  No candles or open flames of any kind are permitted.  
  • There will be an additional cleaning fee of $200 or payment for damages, if such items are used or left behind.   

 Do I need liability insurance?  

We ask that groups over 50 guests procure a one day liability policy. It is an extra layer of protection for you. I often recommend that guests utilize their homeowners or car insurance providers, as they already have your details on file and you can often get a great rate. In the past, I have also had guests use the following companies: Eventsured, Progressive, Allstate, Event Helper. 

Parking options  

  • HQ // If parking is a concern, we have the most robust parking options available at our Headquarters on Colt Street.  
  •  DT VTA // Private Parking is limited at this taproom.  We share a parking lot with Ventura Surf Shop and they have reserved spaces until 6pm daily.  Street parking in the surrounding area is available, please see the MAP for more details.  
  •  SB // Street parking is available on Santa Barbara street & the adjacent lot. If you don’t mind a little walk, there is ample parking at the beach. 
  •  CAM // Ventura Boulevard has street parking on both sides, and there is tons of parking in the surrounding areas! 
  •  OJAI // We recommend searching Montgomery Street for parking.  If you’re local, we’re right on the main drag of Downtown Ojai, so ride your bike on down!  

 Do you offer reduced rates for non-profits?  

 Topa Topa Brewing Co now partners with 1% for the Planet, a global network of businesses, individuals and non-profit organizations tackling our planet's most pressing environmental issues. We wish we could be a part of all of the wonderful opportunities presented to us, but our donations annually go to organizations who are also partnered with 1%.
